Thumbs up Patience Is A Virtue.....

Hello Chaps,

Well after two blank sessions and the last one with no bites either I ventured to the Bristol Channel last night with little hope of anything other than a cold night !!

Arrived with my old man at the mark and set up three rods two with lug and one with lug and squid, sat down and got the coffee out.

First half an hour a few bites and my old man lands his first EVER cod - only just over a pound but a cod none the less. In all his years hes never cod fished until last year and this one fish brought a huge smile to his face !! Five minutes later and Ive landed myself a nice little flounder and we are set for a great night ..............

Anyway unfortunately that was it for the evening and we packed up an hour and half later when the tide was running out at a rate !!

Had a great time good just to be out there but add to this that my mate caught a plaice in Weston last night we have finally got some points for the Fishing Species Comp !!!!

Cheers

You both had a nice fish each.

A great start to your species hunt and a nice read.

What bait were you guy's using?

Kiwi.

Cool Re: Patience Is A Virtue.....

Well done Tommy,

I'm really pleased for you and your dad mate..its hard out there at the moment...so even better when you catch 2 species...

Like I have said before its the hour you put in that get the results in the end.

Very well done again.

I've been trying to catch a flounder for ages at that mark and not a sniff...

Re: Patience Is A Virtue.....

You sure the plaice wasn't another flounder and your trying to double up for the species hunt?
