has anybody fished Slapton recently? was thinking of trying tomorrow

not much happening during the day !!! more active at night ...whiting,pout,doggies ,.....lug ,rag tipped with squid..fish baits for the dogs....

Fished it 2 weeks ago, the day time session was non existant, not a single bite all day, however the nightime is more productive.
Like Wellyfish said, worm bait,squid and mackerel for the doggies.
Slapton is a cracking beach to fish but I cant say it ever fishes its socks off.

Slapton doesnt start to pick up till roughly march time. thats the best time i find to go. lug worm and crab best
