| Green tip lights are better than blue Fished branscombe last night with rich went for the 20min yomp towards beer head( still hadnt geared down low enough puff puff massive tide , with a big random swell in it but no weed so game on fishing for huss ,congers or big bass, my tactics were 4/0 pulley pennels. whole squid with wqorm and big fish baits. 1 cast short 1 banged out well short was no good as swell ripped it from holding in minutes  , long = sngged and lost  so settled for a mid range  well i had the blue tip lights and apart from what i guess was a lost doggie my score was 0 ,ZERO, big fat blankey blank cheque book and pen annd 3 sets lost gear rich though was on a mission and had had a 1.5-2lb huss, 2 schoolies and 2 snotty eels gave up just before midnight as the weed came in en masse and it became unfihable  dave ps have you worked out which colour tip lights i had __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: Green tip lights are better than blue Don't forget my whiting mate! Vitally important that was. Weed became a pain in the end giving you no more than 10 mins before having the lead ripped out. Not really the session I was hoping for, but a PB huss, even if it is still pathetically small, shouldn't be complained about I suppose. Tell you what, having completed the Royal Marines Commando Challenge yesterday and then done 2x20 min yomps on the Branscombe shingle, this morning my calves are doing their best to inflict a painful revenge. I must've felt and looked about 80 years old when I got out of bed.  Quote:
