| Re: ESAA comp , Sidmouth 6/10/10 Weird night that was. I had 3 double shots of sizable pout in my first 3 casts, then it went very quiet for the rest of the night. I thought there may have been a schoolie or too around but only managed a doggie and a couple of better knocks on the bigger baits. Another couple of pout to finish with on the scratching rod to finish off with and that was that. Not the most exciting of fish, but only the third time I've managed to weigh in this year (I have been away for a couple to be fair!) Gonna have to go some now to place in the yearly standings. Rodney isn't gonna throw up enough sizable fish to push anyone too far up the leader board. We'll see. ![]() __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. | i fished infront the 2 breakwaters on sat night along with a few others and all we seemed to catch all night was doggies , i had about 9 in total for just a couple hours... less than impressed, although bloke next to me had couple schoolies towards the end. was really hoping for something better seeing as there was a decent surf although the wind swang round more easterly meaning it was fooking freezing wind and at that point i really lost interest ![]() |
