| Messing about with the spinning rod Went down to Exmouth docks with Dave and the Brother in law a couple of weeks back purely to use up some bait. Size 2 hooks and a 1oz bomb on spinning rods were the order of the day with the aim of pulling out a new species or two for the hunt. Pretty much straight away we were getting small Ballan Wrasse and little Goby's, but mixed in with the steady stream of fish was this Goldsinny. Bingo! Points!  Goldsinny Wrasse Another school boy fishing type session, but once again the docks came up with the goods. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait?     |
