| Hi, I am new to the forum only just joined. Been a member on WSF and the chesil forum for a while. I recently got hooked on plugging for bass and have been out a few times along chesil ferry bridge end and along abbotsbury and west bex and havent really had much luck. I grew up on Portland so know my way around pretty well. I have next week off work so want to get out as much as I can plugging for bass around portland. I have heard the ledges near red crane are good for bass and pollack and also around by pulpit but its a bit rougher over there usually. I spent a lot of time jumping off rocks around that side as a nipper (stacks and coasties) I think they were called. Just after something a bit more specific really as to where and when and what times and tides can be good to get bass around portland. Also would be cool to meet up and have a bash I have a car and dont mind picking people up if you guys have some time off next week for some plugging. I live in Weymouth. Was also thinking about checking out kimmeridge bay and ringstead heard they are good. Been reading some of Mike Ladles diaries. Thanks up front for any help and info. Matt |
