| interesting hour at docks went to docks for a bit over high tide as got son at home with chicken pox took him along as trying to make him interested in fishing again(must try harder  )Anyway water was so clear you could see the fish coming out of the rocks for the bait,(rock blennies and wrasse) then watch them strip the hook clean. Interesting to see how wary these fish are and how they peck at the bait from the side, only got a couple of the blennies up as was more interested in watching them feed and trying to take note of where the holes and outcrops in rocks are but a great hour spent watching the fish and our resident kingfisher __________________ 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day , Game on www.exmouthsaa.co.uk I have the body of a God, Pity its Buddha :-0     |

| Re: interesting hour at docks something that struck me in cornwall last summer was the clarity of the water, my son went crabbing in about 12 to 15 foot of water and he was throwing his bait at individual crabs,it was fascinating watching it, coming from kent where the sea is so sh***y that you couldn't see the bottom in 3 inches of water i found it amazing. why is there such a difference between the two parts of the country,does anyone know ? |
