| middleton 23/9 well 2nd night on the beach (hard life) . went to middleton this time . got there just after 9pm . bait was lug , squid and crab . was going to fish 1 at range and 1 in close . was looking good on the weather front , wind was dropping and going nothly and good cloud cover . straight away the distant rod was producing good size pout , things were looking good  . then abit of weed started to show  . straight away the fishing slowed . just after high water the weed cleared  and the fish returned . then it was like someone switched a light on . the moon was so bright i could see my rod tips with out my head light  . i knew then that was it on the fishing front . last 3 casts produced 2 small bass and a dogfish . so called it a night at 3am last time i fished here it was my close in rod that caught all the fish . this time it was my distance rod . never had a fish close in , this time . still ended up with a load of pouting , couple of smalll bass and a doggie __________________ 2010 south coast danglers cod meet champ     |

| Re: middleton 23/9 if it aint the weed its the ruddy massive moon lol im hoping for neither this week - or the easterly wind / flat calm sea / rain ..
