| PB Smooth-Hound fishing started relly slow well for me and AL the weed and tide was stonking threw BK manged to land a smut around 6lb. ater that he decided to go home and my and AL stuck it out as it was a perfect evening for it. the weed and tide soon eased off and AL had his 1st ever bream not a bad one at that around 1lb and a quater. then that was it until it got dark i had a few slack line bite rekon they were bass just picking it up then dropping it. but the night carryed on and i noticed a nod on the zzipy so pick up reeled tight it tapped 2wice more then shed loads of slack line so reeled down and struck into the fish. dident feel big at all just Dead weight i got it in about 20 yards of the pier then it started to peel a small amout of line of the reel but then managed to jump over the railings when the fish was benth me then realised it was much bigger then i thoart called AL over to hand line it up for me then thats when it went absolutly crazy! doing anything to try and shake the hook but it dident succeed and i landed a decent smut well over 10lb  couple of pics then she was returned as always. after that we called it a night. cheers dazza.     |
