I know what you're saying mate, % specimen wise, the Sole is a much better fish.... But I rather have the stream lined, killing machine, bar of silver, everytime over the "beaten with the ulgy stick" Sole... Even if they do taste quite nice and fight quite well...



TBH, either one would do me at the moment... My fishing is DIRE!

Im working hard after another double this year i know they are there lost more than i care to think about , but thats the hazzards of fishing that mark , ive seen complete numpties bag sole of 2 lb plus off there and it was frustrating not being able to get one myself , now i have i can concentrate more on the bass and your right they are damn ugly fish
