charmouth for a change

well after a week of haveing family here it was time to dust down the old rods and try for mr fish again( well it has been a week)

venue was charmouth( iknow again) and with a nice surf running things looked good
low neap tide at midnight
well there was some annoying weed but nothing couldnt cope with

baits were 1 rod 2 hook 1/0 flapper and lug
other 2/0 long pulley pennel

1 was first in with my first taker for nearly a year at 2lb14 on the lug happy days

then rich gad a deep hooked schoolie and then myself a poxy eel

things were then very quiet at what was usually our prefererd time( last 2 hrs of drop) than i managed another at 2lb 15 on the squid a first as never had 2 takers in a session

but by 12.30 we had enough it was way too quiet and the weed was building

but a result as the honiton kebab was still open at 1/20 so happy happy days

It all looked perfect... A decent surf running and nicely overcast, pity the fish never turned up in any sort of numbers. Next time.
