Great sesh-5 Bass! 10lb.12oz plus others

Last Friday the 13th, well it was actually Sat early am so bad luck certainly didn't come into it.
Went out back with a mate ( we call the southern,westerly end of the Island "outback" and set up for rays at distance with Sandeels etc.
I was biteless for a few hours while my m8 had the odd pout,doggy and scad.
Getting bored waiting for a Ray I decided to come in a bit and fish for Bass (I only fish one rod) so on with some frozen Mackerel (freshly frozen local fish) and didn't have too long to wait for a bite.
First bite = first bass then followed by four other Bass, missing three bites in the frantic time they were on the feed.
Tally for the night was in this order; Bass 3lb.15oz, 7lb.10oz, 6lb.6oz, 10lb.12oz, 5lb.11oz not bad eh! for an old geyser!

See? Fri 13th never came into it!
