| east beach selsey Got to selsey just gone 6.30 in the evening wednsday, set up my tent as staying for 3 nights and proceeded to the beach (only 10 yards away) to check out the situation, the water was flat calm with little wind. Thinking to myself i think i had better go back to the car and say my goodbyes to er indoors as she just drops me off and i dont see her till i want to go home  , anyway that done i decided to nip into the pub for a couple before i start my session . Got to the beach,and decided to have a go near the rocks by the point, things started off quiet untill about 2 oclock when there was a knock knock only for me to bring in a skoolie which started a busy couple of hours of no less than 17 of the same, then nothing. by about 4 in the morning i decided it was time for some food then sleep so i ventured back to my tent.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .......Thursday night................after spending the day walking the beach checking for spots to fish,chatting to the locals and the fishermen as they came ashore from their day out fishing asking for tips on marks along the beach i decided to have a go next to the lifeboat station, the session started of so slow i could have tattoo`ed a back piece before i had a knock then in came a wrasse a little later i had a black bream of about 9 oz then back to the skoolies.......................................... .................................................. .. Friday night.......... after my son turning up with his mate gary to fish with me and the two of them dragging me screaming and stamping my feet to the local pub and forcing me to drink alcohol we finally decided to do some fishing,as of the night before it started slow but by 3:50 i had big knock which i struck and straight away i knew it was going to be my best fish to date, my son and his mate came over to see me pull in a lovely bass of 5 and a half pound and yes the old ticker was getting a good work out lol . the rest of the night produced wrasse,black bream,eel and more skoolies, packed up at 4:30 put everything in my sons van (with my bass) and proceeded home.........all in all a great session...............pics to follow bill __________________ http://www.ivejustgonefishing.com     |
