| Chesil Cove Hi guys, fished Chesil Cove yesterday 2 hours before high and then 3 back down again. In short I drove 125 miles for a Black Bream! lol. Conditions were tough with a very stiff South Westerly blowing for a lot longer and harder than was forecast. Put 1 rod out with a 3 hook flapper baited with slithers of squid on the top 2 hooks (size 8 long shank carp hooks) and a larger squid n rag cocktail on the bottom hook (size 1 salt water champion). Rod no.2 was baited with fresh peeler on a pulley rig which remained un molested by fish of any description! Guy next along the beach was bassing and he had blanked up to the point of me leaving and the next guy up had taken a few pout so nothing decent to report. I have though added another species to the hunt tally and will post up a piccy later. Tight lines all. |
