hi all got set up by 815pm ht was at 945pm fished with me bruv in law 3 rods between us big bait on one 2hook flappers on the other 2 20 mins in lost everthing on big bait rod (weight, hooks shock.) reeled in my 2nd rod re baited and cast out, re shocked and re rigged out went 2nd rod again, over the next 30 mins lost both set ups again, the whole lot, totally ran out of shock, bruv carried on for a bit longer then called it a day, i've only been fishing a yr and a bit and never seen weed this bad b 4. got talking to another fisherman(nice to meet u tiny) who said last time the weed was this bad was 12yrs ago, so all in all no fish caught and lost loads of stuff, s""t happens.

On call yesterday Graham, but chucked the fly rod in the boot and managed to steal a couple of hours up the Adur between quiet periods, blankety blank.
Looked perfect too

Bad luck Graham, I thought the worst of the weed was over but obviously not. I'm hoping to hit there some time over the next few nights on these big tides coming up - could be interesting!

1 bag of cheap dog biscuits , a rubber dog biscuit on the hook and bingo , no weed or tides to worry about , sounds good to me
