Milford Shingle Bank last night

Popped down the bank for a quick sesh last night - walked over the bridge and set up just to the left of the boulder groyne
1st rod out with a 2 hook flapper and straight into a bream - this continued for the next couple of hours with sport being practicaly non-stop all fish were in the 3/4lb to 1 1/2lb mark all on rag and size 4 semi circles
About an hour before dark the water became alive with makkies/scad
The water was boiling with fish - I even managed to get a couple of kids into their 1st sea fish (Good deed done for the day)they had only ever been coarse fishing before and had float rods with them but with a little spinner on the end they were both soon into fish 10 yards out.
Anyways fished on untill midnight but only managed a schoolie after dark.One good thing didn't see a bit of weed all night - makes a pleasant change down there

Good effort bud and my congrats on the impromtu fishing lessons ..been pestered by tiny Bream the last 2 sessions so Milford sounds like my best bet for a decent specimen !

Last couple of times i've been down theres been plenty of bream + a good time to stock the freezer with makkies without having to trudge down to Chesil

Yeah, that was on the cards too lol ..
Whats the score with parking ? side of the road still or is there a free parking bit now..aint fished there in ages so unsure whats going on !

Side of the road by the cut bridge is still free
There's even a Burger/Tea van down there!!!

The Family hail hail from Glasgow on my dads side but i spent more time living in Edinburgh .. I guess being a protestant Celtic supporter entitles me to the name mental
