| didnt know where to go last night, i was still pretty wasted from a long day saturday + pub and working the morningthe idea originally was charmouth but that can have a habit of being weeded out after a blow so opted for closer to home and jacobs i had only taken 2 baits being peeler left from last weekend and some frozen sandeel baggie on arrival realised he had NO bait as was all still in his shed( so was 45 minutes later on the beach )met another mate Si on the beach so decided not to go for the yomp and set up 100-150yrds along rigs weere goodd old 3/0 pulley pennels with 1 rod crab and 1 rod sandeel either way all i did all eve was feed the crabs, and had 1 missed bite at 11 baggie sent out some lug close in hopeing for a bass, and gets ( sorry about this Lee) a flounder in the middle of july ![]() si had an eel and later on rich an eel, it was dire and we packed up 11.30 feeling properly fed up, there were some others who yomped along to our usual spot as i got there and left before us leaving a massive fire on the beach so i guess no good up there eitherwe also came away with bait boxes, squid and sandeel just left on the beach by some lazy "angler " left not 50 or 60yrds away fromn the bin![]() wednesday night is DEFINATELY!!! | Re: jacobs was rubbish, litterally The forgetfull one?!?! I've been called many things in my time..... But I can't remember half of them. ![]() One of those nights, would you believe that was my first fluke of the year and in July? Once again I was fishing hard with double patting and very regular bait changes, but nothing doing. And the 'orrible eel made a right mess of that rig. Ah well... Roll on Wednesday. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait? |

| Re: jacobs was rubbish, litterally Unlucky there Dave, i know what you mean about the litter problems at some venues, i was quite shocked the other week when i tubed it across my local lake to the other side to find the rubbish i did, the side i fish is private and gets no other anglers so is as clean as a whistle but the other side is fished by a few and to be honest it was a disgrace, not anglers at all in my opinion. | Re: jacobs was rubbish, litterally Sad fact of life on many BAA waters too. Lazy b@stards walk down to the bank with the bag full of pellets or can of spaghetti hoops , empty the contents then throw the now feather weight packet on the ground. No angler would do this , they are idiots. __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |

| It never ceases to amaze me, the mess some so-called "anglers" leave behind them, spoiling every area they visit ( a bit like Japanese knotweed ). They`re so selfish. Peter ![]() |
