| hayling cuttle (pic) decided to fish hayling (30/6) again as it never fails, bait was peeler and mackrell. high tide was round about 3am fished from about 8pm ... fella in the next groin caught a couple of mackrell on ragworm, no matter what bait you put out when it was still light it was getting stripped by bream so myself and lee waited untill darkness. all in all it was a quite night tho lee's only decent bite resulted in a smut of about 2lb. early hours in the morning between 2am and 3am i had a pull on the mackrell bait, i struck my rod and started to reel ..... it felt like weed, then i see somthing white surface and thought wooooo hoooo my first bass of the year ![]() NOPE it was my first ever cuttle fish.no other bites decided to pack up and head home about 4am. ![]() |
