| ouse update hi all fished the ouse yesterday, used a no 3 ondex spinner, a sm mepps spinner and put out my carp rod with crab bait on to c if eny bass would take it, fished low going up for 2hrs finished about 10pm not a thing, going to try river at high tide or 2hr b4 high next time to c if that makes a difference, tightlines all graham ![]() ![]() |

| Re: ouse update hi c/c no i didnt get eny rag not sure where to or how to find it,fished right down by the incinorator, as we packed up the fish (wot ever they were) started jumping on the surface (sods law). plan next trip at high water or hr b4 and a bit further up, would u recommend right up by bridge at southease? tightlines m8 graham ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Re: ouse update unlucky mate....maybe next time....southease or denton island should see you a few mullet...mainly thin lips id imagine but the odd bigger thick lip thrown in if you use the corect baits....red rag probably your best bet trailed about three inches behind a small spiner for the thins and for the bigger greys your probably best using bread. good luck for your next trip. ps, plenty of places for red rag as i imagine CC has pm'd you. |

| Re: ouse update Id say it varies from time to time due to being out dug by many others, ouse rag aint bad...have dug up there many of times but there are patches in the adur that produce well.....and they will last four five days if looked after. at least the breading is over.....was a nightmare trying to work out how to keep em in that....lucky to get em to last 24hrs. |
