| hayling 21/6/10 Looking out the window it was blowing well so I wondered if it might bring the bass in close at hayling. Would also give me the chance to try out my circle hooked bream rigs on the hoards of small bream that surround hayling in the summer. I arrived at eastoke at high in daylight with the plan to fish it down then head round to sandy point at low to chuck some crabs at the lunker hounds and bass. First cast saw the first familiar savage bream bites of 2010 and a bream on the beach, circle hook doing what it is supposed to. ![]() This pattern kept going only to be interupted by the world's smallest whiting, I took a pic for comedy value: ![]() The bigger bass baits where nipped by bream but the bass were either not there or not hungry. As for sandy point it turned out to be sandy pointless, not a touch there at all. |
