 Second PB in a week omg yesterday i had to go down the docks for bait and had an hour to kill so was rude not to have a dabble off the side the weed is HORRENDOUS and the only place fishable was taken( harbour mouth) but i snaffled a few casts down the side and had first ballan wrasse of the year , good fun on spinning rod as well. gave up pretty soon though as pretty much unfishable  sorry about pic i have cleaned lense since  last night was a planned trip to meet nick the novice at seatown, but as ever we were late away ( must not leave stuff at home and double back so often)and therfore stopped at branscombe set up and both fishing by 9.30 it was slow, there were no mackeral about at all, but as dusk fell i banged 1 rod out with crab( other rod stayed scratching all night) with 1/2 hour till low i ad a bite " its only a doggy " i tell rich...untill 10yrds out it decides its not a doggie and wakes up and eventually i have a new PB starry Smoothound of 7lb 2 on the beach  what a week unfortunately that was it really, I had a dog on the scratching rig and rich io think ended up with 6 dogs stayed far later than should for a school night oh well we have another cunning plan for friday night  dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |
