| Seatown Hi all, fished Seatown last night with SE Ray and Hounds on the wish list but unfortunately neither made an appearance! Fished 2 rods on "up and over" rigs with sandeel mounted on 2/0 sakuma stingers and a third rod baited with crab (frozen peeler and live hardbacks were fished alternatly) which was mounted on a pulley pennel. The weather was not ideal with little wind and a sea that was flatter than a witches tit although it was suprisingly mild. I fished from 1900 until 0400 and then made my way back to somerset with just pout and dogs to show for my efforts. My mate turned up about midnight and pinched a pout from me for live bait and bagged a 2.5lb bass just as I was leaving which was good to see. Well back to the drawing board as they say! ![]() |
