| selsey , east beach turned up about 4pm set up between east beach and church norton . after the last session there , hopes were high of a few nice bream . high tide was just after 8pm . from the word go there was heavy weed . could not keep a rig in the water for more than 5 min . to say it was unfishable i think would be a under statement . but i stuck at it , in the hope it would clear . how wrong was i , there was no let up . by high tide i had only 2 little bream and a pile of weed the size of a small mountain of weed . thought the weed got to clear soon , but it kept coming  . by 10pm i had another 3 little bream . but by now i had 2 mountains of weed on the beach . so throw the towel in  . i was planning on going there tonight  . no chance . so im going to go round to west beach and walk up to the out fall pipe . and i would warn every one , who is planning a trip to the east side of selsey to stay away from there as it wont be pleasure fishing , but fishing hell __________________ 2010 south coast danglers cod meet champ     |
