| Nice evening down the beach Just back from an evening session down the beach. My first proper session in 3 years with the beach gear and it started well. First cast 5lb smoothound on hermit, fished on a pulley pennel. Took a little while after that before any other bites, then the bream turned up. Had taken down a light rod so had some fun with bream, mainly taken on baby rag or lug tipped with squid fished on a 3 hook flapper, real short traces and size 6 hooks. The action carried on all night with small bream and another slightly smaller smoothound taken on peeler this time. Not a bad first session back into it, but plenty of room for improvement over the next few months  __________________ Bens The Name And Catchings The Game Anti the Anti's     |
