| Seaton 21:30 - 01:00 Went to Seaton tonight to see if the hounds had decided to arrive yet.... And they have not But I did get a nice little suprise, Something that I first saw landed on my very first session night fishing two years ago, Something that I have always wanted to catch for myself ! Managed to get this little gurnard on mackeral strip, I presume its a red or tub gurnard ? Not to sure.. Can someone identify it please as I will be adding it to team dilligafs species hunt scores. As it was deeply hooked and any attempt to get the hook out resulted in half its guts coming with it, it came home for the plate ![]() Any ideas on how to cook it and also whats the best way to fillet it???? Cheers Leigh ![]() |

| Re: Seaton 21:30 - 01:00 tubby mate - red gurnars are BRIGHT red lol .. Lovely sweet meat - dont fillet it - remove the head and bake as a whole fish with whatever herbs take your fancy ![]() __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting |
