| selsey last night selsey west beach about 6.30 . walked down to the out fall . started to fish about 7.30 . was watching fish crash all over the place in front of me . then about 8.30 it all kicked off . did not matter what bait i chucked out the smoothies hit it . had one run nearlly took the rod . it was a double shot of smoothies , got them in the surf only for one to pull free , but what a scrap . then at around 11 it stopped and the pouting moved in . i packed up about 1 with a acheing back walked back to the car . stopped and spoke to 3 guys who were fishing to my left . they had a few smoothies aswell . ended up with 14 smoothies , yes i said 14 . went from 6lbs up to 10.8lbs . had 10 pouting and 2 small bass . red letter day or what . __________________ 2010 south coast danglers cod meet champ Last edited by pingu; 05-26-2010 at 01:22 PM.
