 sidmouth, jacobs fish + warning Fished Jacobs with rich last night, a lovely evening too be out, had Schoolie bass each when useing Lug, but nothing on the Sandeel intended for the Ray The warning part is about the cliffs whilst there , a massive fall occured down towards the end( sounded huge and the dust cloud covered the beach after , the othere side of the sid towards branscombe is also exceptionally unstable so iff going too these spots ensure people know where you are, and not sure i'd fish either ends over high at present cheers dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives     |

| Re: sidmouth, jacobs fish + warning First Bass of the year. Thank god! Thought they'd all scarpered!  The landslip was a real reminder of the power of mother nature. When it first went I thought it was a roll of thunder, only louder. Much louder. Ten mins later and the slip which was at the other end of the beach had produced a big cloud of dust as high as the surrounding cliffs. Ten mins after that and we were surrounded by dust. From the other end of the beach!  It was like a fog had come in off the sea. Scarey stuff. Anybody even remotely close to that lot wouldn't have stood a chance. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT! Sh*t, where’s the bait? |
