| Turbot session. IOW 23/5/10 Hi all, thought i would go out in search of a turbot or two as i was told a few were showing here and there, not bad sized ones either. So armed with a few fresh mackerel, myself and solesearcher headed to linstone chine to soak up the HOT sun rays, have a few beers and have a few casts and see what happens. It really was a beautiful evening and was still scorching hot at 9pm. ![]() ![]() Disappointingly the fishing was slow but i did manage to get our target species....... a turbo no bigger than a beer mat ;D ;D ![]() Pity the bigger ones didnt come out for a sunbath but maybe they will next time we get out after them. |

| Re: Turbot session. IOW 23/5/10 I'd never heard of Linstone chine , it is typically bloody gorgeous though. I'm guessing from the background that it's the Yarmouth side of Colwell. Five more weeks and I'll be back. Can't wait. ![]() __________________ Just remember, not all the heroes died. www.helpforheroes.org.uk |

Most of the beach is brambles bay, but the chine we were fishing by is called linstone so i always call it that from the chine to the far corner. Brambles is more around the spilway area. |
