Selsey 6th Jan 2005

Selsey six groins to the right of the lifeboat station last Thurday evening, high tide at 7.30pm dark at 5pm fished from 3pm to 8pm. 5 Rockling to 4oz, 2 Pouting to 1lb, 1 Whiting 4oz it swallowed the hook so I hope it survived and 1 Scorpion fish 1oz, barely bigger than the hook. Can any of that lot be eaten, I know about Whiting and have a few in the freezer. But do the others just taste too vile.

Also went in Chichester harbour the following Sunday, had to get on me bike to get to so called 'top spot' at low tide it was sooooo cold and blowing a gale so could only stand it until dark blanked, it may be better in the summer months, I'll try it again then.

By the way whats this about a species hunt?

Best regards

Lukie boy.
