charmouth 21/5

well i had a solid gold /blinding pass so was off at just gone 6 and at charmouth for 7 . 1/2 hour into the flood

and what a glorious evening that was last night
sea was like a millpond in the bay



but with the tide being down i skipped across the end of the river and went down too the landslip



met plenty of dog walkers and others with the usual questions .." what you after mate??"

well the target was ray and although i had some worm and was also given some more (cracking) worm by a guy who had fished there the night before,( and had a great suprise catch but will leave that info for the moment) I stuck too my guns and fished sandeel on 1/0 and 2/0 rigs , 1 at range and 1 close

too say it was quiet was an understatement though, and it wasnt untill 11 untill the first knock and the first of several pout, not a bad size just about a lb but not what i was after either, thought i had a poorcod as well, but on closer looks it wasnt ( how about that for excitement)

this was then a plague of them for 20 mins then all went totally quiet again

fished on till 12.30 but not a touch, so knowing todays a busy taxi'ing kifds about kind of day i left and bimbled home

oh well i shall have to go back for the ray
a loveluy eve and was still 12*c when i left

as a warning the carpark charges have gone up, but still not bad with £4 for the whole day if you can get in bottom carpark
