Hi Sam.....there are tons of great marks in this area so its better if you can be a little more specific ....
Depending on the age/ability of the family and what region you want and what time of year !

Hayling island ... Eastoke Corner for 'the train', 2 pubs, all sortsa shops, tackle/bait shop, fish and chips + 2 diners, newsagent, off-licence (important!), 2 takeways ... all within 300 metres of the Eastoke Car Park and fishun'.

And daylight 'smuts'!

Thumbs up Re: Beach Fishing

Hi Steve

Thanks for your reply. I want to go this weekend. I am looking for a place where I can fish while the rest of family can have picnic, relax and enjoy the sun. Somewhere with with an access to public toilets maybe. We dont have young children. I live in north chingford, essex, I can travel up to 2 hours.

I can go anywhere between Ramsgate and Eastbourne this week. But let me know if you know a better place outside of this area for future trips.

Thanks a lot.

Sam

Re: Beach Fishing

Hi Sam, For next time have a look at Burton bradstock, see http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/main/w-burtonbradstock , the beach is shingle, but good fishing, good family venue too.
Regards,
Nick
