 Town Quay 13-4-10 Decided after my non eventfull trip to Eastoke on Sunday night to try Town Quay for the first time as i still had some nice lug and a few rag left... Managed to get there without getting lost and even managed to get dinner from a kebaby round the corner ! Set up a little after 7 i guess and didn't see any action till just after the sun went down and both rods started to rattle .. Managed to latch onto 5 small whiting and a lil pout on my last cast ( all taken on worm - sandeels i tried didn't produce , but i did miss a huge pull on a pennel rigged eel that came in chewed in half ! ) .. Thats the first two trips that i've taken my eldest daughter ,so fish or not was quite special for me - especially seeing her digging for lug in a pair of crocs and losing both of them in six inches of mud  ( i aint wearin wellies dad - they are naff looking ) Nice easy venue , thanks to Lee for the inspiration  Steve ( pics to follow ) __________________ Shore Species 2012: Dab-Flounder-Herring-L.S.Dogfish-Pouting-Shore Rockling-5 Bearded Rockling-Small Eyed Ray-Turbot-Whiting     |

| Re: Town Quay 13-4-10 Good call Steve, I can't get my daughter to come fishing with me at all, but my son loves it. We fished town quay while the women went shopping last year, but during the day and did not get a bite! I keep meaning to go back, maybe I'll drop the girls off at the cinema one evening and give it a go when the sun is going down. Cheers, Nick |
