| ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr saturday was supposed to be the start of my hols, but work , as per usual, got in the way. lastnight found me at monks hill for a couple of hours before starting work in gosport at 22.00. bait was limmited to froze macky and sandeel + some slipper i collected. fished 19.00- 21.00 scratching for something-anything  not a bite there looked to be a comp along the main beach. finnished work at 07.00, and went to dig some worm on a new likely looking spot- lots of mud & no worm  and so headed for hill head to dig a few fresh blow lug for a mornings red spotty hunt at stokes. found no little blow , just a doz bloody gert commons at 8-10inch , just right to choke those mythical plaice  .fished stokes from 09.00ish - midday, not a touch. saw not a fish from the other angler with me on the beach or the three small boats angling just off shore. will be back out tomoz with Hartley & both families, god knows where the sea seems barren 4 me this year. __________________ beer so many venues, so little time.     |
