 Catch Report(s) Been a While since I last posted Fished Saturday afternoon at Minster (Isle of Sheppey) using 1 Pennel rigged pulley rod out for a chance of a Ray & 1 with a 2 hook flapper for anything else, Sandeel on Ray rod & Lug/Rag on other. One little rattle on the day (Missed) and that was all. Guy next to me had a little flounder and didn't see anything else caught. Tried Leysdown (Green End) on Monday afternoon with similar set up (Bluey/Sandeel for Rays & Lug/Rag for whatever else may be around) had one or two tiny rattles and eventually hauled in a leviathan of a flounder (Only Joking just a few ounces) did not see anyone else catch there but at least caught one. lets hope things pick up, £15+ on bait to catch a single flounder is not a great return (But when you look at it I suppose that is about £1.50 per hour to escape the wife so not all bad!!!)      |
