 slapton 3/01/05 me choosy54 and freinds went slapton last night exellent night weather wise ,was very busy there must of been comp.had rag squid mackeral and prawn ,got there at 7.30 fished to 12.30 ,dog fish more dogs and some more dogs all returned for some one else to catch shame nothing else but was a exellent night ,nice to get out after lazy xmas .tight lines to all     |

| Re: slapton 3/01/05 must of had a dozen between 3 so was good in that contex .but at least you got out thats the main thing .a freind of mine went to princess pier last night said he had whiting out nothing big 1 took home for breakfast . |

| Re: slapton 3/01/05 im going out tonight if anyone fancies joining me?... we were thinking of trying a new beach tried it and caught bass from it in the summer so im hoping the whiting and pout along with the dogs will frequent the area too. __________________ fishing for fish is not as simple as you may think! |

| Re: bossington fish. me and me mate went to bossington last night hoping for some cod. Perfect sea conditions and weather clear and dam cold. Should be in with a chance. Lost nearly every weight i own. There are very large boulders that just seem to cover the weights all the time , along with a massive kelp bed which we could not seem to cast over. The beach has really steep shelves.APART from that completely blanked all night not even a nibble. Tryed all sorts of rigs and baits but not even a bite. Fished it 4hrs before and 3 after. Were absolutely knakered got home @ 3.30 in morning. My advise to anyone is dont go there !!!!!!!!!!  |
