well done on the target Dave... It's one of the many species I've never caught. Maybe this year.

Re: charmouth 5/3/10. good job size dont matter

more for info for Nick

rich and myself fished there last night
a very very cold wind was hitting us from the south west( should have been north) so was more than a tad uncomfortable

i was fishing 2 rods purely sandel result = 0 / zilch /nadder
rich was scratching 1 rod with some tired lug and bling = 2 slugs
other rod bluey = 0 / zilch /nadder

a tough session really
but good to be back to fave beach

dave

Re: charmouth 5/3/10. good job size dont matter

Thanks Dave, I'm still hoping to get down there on fri or sat if I can.
I've had a shit week. My car went tits up the day prior to its MOT. Turns out my power steering unit had gone tits up along with the water pump too, got the AA to come out and they confirmed the problem so took it to a garage where upon after fitting the fore mentioned they discovered that things were still not well, the fookin steering rack had gone tits up also!
They were embarrassed about the fact that they'd missed the problem with the rack so knocked off the labour for fitting it but its still a big bill. Fortunately I've got AA break down repair cover to a max of £500 per breakdown which the AA are going to pay out but its still a lot of queens mug shots to part with. I've got myself in for another 12 hours on sunday and I might be needed on saturday too so its a case of priorities really. It's also Mothers Day, so thats pressies for my mum and pressies for my estranged one from my nipper and its her birthday on sunday too and my daughters birthday on monday! Phew what a week!!

So basicly I hope to fish soon but it may not be this weekend lol.

Look forward to reading your reports and I am gagging to get down there especially as most of the BC is dead apart from small codlets AND I've got to try out my new "long rod" which I've not had the opportunatey to cast yet.

Tight lines!
