 ESAA wed league Seaton 3/3/10 Well that was pants although a brilliant turnout of 16 members all lulled into a false sence of fishy security and the prospect of fish by the better weather and comeing of march, limped my car there with a rear brake locked on   , and limped back slower when seemed better( off to quickfit today)so seaton beach was covered with rods and baits , there was a big surf right on the edge where breaking sometimes 6-8 ft but was calm out behind so not bad fishing conditions BUT!!! the massive total weighed in = 3 fish being 2 rockling and 1 pout( i had 1 undersised rockling all eve) so well done to ken and new member Carl on shareing first  next month sidmouth seafront    dave ps cant say its enthused me too much for saturdays allnighter comp either , although sure that will change by then __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go...and if you do go please let us know :D     |

I made a fatal mistake of taking the TT ld's for some unknown reason and spent the first hour and a half just watching them bounce around in the rest. Once the tide turned things started to calm down a touch so I actually managed some fishing. Nett result: 2 5 beard rockling, one tiny and a monest of 23cm. Both no good for the comp and so failed to weigh in again. Ah well, next month. __________________ Right then, checklist: Rods. Check. Reels. Check. Speckled Hen. Check. Bait…… BAIT!
