Angry poxy met office ,, branscombe last night

To start with.. the Met Office weather report for this weekend was

saturday morning a few light showers, got that 1/2 right i suppose[wouldnt say light showers though ]..see may be a stupid plan , but i'm going

saturday afternoon till midnight clear and calm..

Sunday from midnight wind building . then rain and armageddon of the weather variety from 3 am going on all day with torrential rain and wind

Theresfore Rich and myself went for the weather window and headed to branscombe armed with squid, mackeral and 4/0 hooks hunting huss

met some new club members there who had caught a very early specemin my fave summer fish
so felt happy

got to our spot after a goodly yomp and set up, very little surf and was warm and dry

tide dropping fast showing us all the rocks that we were fishing over , so thats why i lost first set, then a few more after

come 10pm and the drizzle started then followed by heavy

till come midnight we had just had enough, with just one half hearted bite to rich

got in at 1am , unloading riches car in a monsoon

today though its been lovely all day ( dry and no wind ) and looks like a cracking evening but i have zero enthusiasm so have opened a beer to ensure i dont do anything stupid like fishing tonight

i'm glad the Met office moved 8 miles up the road here and have their new super computer , why dont they just look out the window

thank god tommorrows mnarch as feb has been dire...30ish hours fishing for 3 rocking and 3 dogs,, and the less said about the pike the better
