Unhappy losing my Mojo

another tough weekend just passed

friday eve to sunday afternoon was club open comp

the weather was foul fri eve so the pub won,

then a certain zander meet stopped fun saturday,( but a top day despite the serial blanking )
but at the sea comp it seems most that did fish were struggling, will let baggie add his efforts later if he wishes

sunday saw us away early and off to our secret Dab mark

so secret that it dissapeared from us underwater

so we went for the higher ground

but 4 hours later and without so much as a nibble ( apart from crabs ) we gave up ( there were at leat 25 rods out here and NO ONE had anything )

so another comp blank( getting good at this now )

on way home at 3 I txt mrs p ( I should have done that in morning) and an evening of attention was required

God I need my Mojo back, as this serial blanking is actually getting too me

so roll on wednesday night when no doubt i'll be back out again

dave

Re: losing my Mojo

Mate, it's Febuary. It's been cold, and it's Febuary.

Did I mention it's Febuary?

Not much more to add report wise really. We had a great night's fishing in the pub on Friday (In fact, I don't see how you've got the nerve to claim you've lost any mojo. Dart's is your game, pool is mine!!!)

I went to Branscombe on Friday night, but 4 hours of absolutely nothing at all didn't improve my chances in the comp. I so much want to have a damned good rant about this

Sunday was a Speckled hen away day and my first ever vist to STB crew territory, land of gingers, the famous "crap venue" itself, which turned out to be every bit as crap as the regulars of the other forum have christened it. We basically spent 4 hours having a crab catching competition, which obviously, Dave won! It certainly wasn't a lack of anglers on the peir which was responsible for the lack of fish. As Dave says, 25 rods and not a single fish to be seen. It really truly is a "crap venue". I'll be back in the summer, if only for the stunning views!
