Going Scratching tonight

well things are getting desperate this year, fished 4 venues and total of 16 hours for 1 poxy whiteing so far ( yeah sorry no report from last sundays dire effort at our fave flounder mark = 4 hours stood in water and mud for a big fat blank for both of us)

I have also 2 blanks on pike trips as well( although not too much effort yesterday with howling wind and chocolate water)

so tonight I is going to see a bend in my rod so its super scratchy rigs, very light rods and a trip to lyme regis harbour for the evening tide, rocklings beware Pingu and Baggie are on the warpath!!!!

Good luck guys, dave its just a bad time of year mate as you know. When i fished the closed gold medal 05 we fished in oct. 4 hours morning session saturday then same day 4 hours night session then next day sunday 5 hours, top 5 get in team out of 60 anglers, i got 3rd overall and in 06 got 5th overall and 1 more fish both years last session i would of won gold medal shore, so i know the head says go dave and i hope you both get a good few bends in both rods or four 2 each. Its frustrating and i know how you feel. Tight lines
