| seaford fri nite 15th fished seaford last nite,arrived and casting by 8.00pm ht was at 1130.pm sea was a little rough but seemed to me to be fishable, set two rod one with clip down pennel one with 2 hook flapper, used slipper, sandell, lug, after about 11/2 hrs stopped using 2 rods wind picked up and sea was getting worse,carried on till 1am, NOT A BL**DY THING,  got home cheked weather on internet, weather had changed after i looked at and set off, now showing f5 going onto f6 winds blowining in from south, well better luck next time, might try langley piont next.baker boy  Last edited by baker boy; 01-16-2010 at 06:32 PM. | Re: seaford fri nite contd... hi baker boy, sorry i couldnt make the trip , a night mare of a day. good to see you braved it out, when that wind goes southerly to 6 it can be a challenge to fish it especially if the weed makes an appearance . would have been easier and better when the wind let off a bit , but so unpredictable at times you dont know what to do. well done for trying though. hopefully see you down there sometime. will be fishing a society match on sat 30th down there . may see you down there if you can wing it, good tide to fish weather allowing. cheers, kev.  |
