January Kent/Sussex Meet: Dover?

I know we talked about this at our last meet. Any ideas? I know Dover was a suggestion, shall we check tide times and get things moving then? After all I'll have species points to earn

Rob

Know what you mean, I want to go to Hurst Castle at the end of Jan. Don't know about dates yet. If the Kent lads don't mind, I can get things moving

Re: January Kent/Sussex Meet: Dover?

have delayed posting about this because i havn't yet got a tide table for next year,i have also had a difficult couple of months with the wife in and out of hospital

however, have been thinking about this today, have sent a PM to john-boy about possible venues, dover breakwater is a little expensive i feel. The fee for the boat to take you out there, the ticket for fishing and parking will set you back a tenner before you start,
i have suggested an alternative venue of deal pier which would be a lot cheaper, its got a bar on there as well,

not sure what to say about this,we will have to get our heads together.

what do you lads think

Re: January Kent/Sussex Meet: Dover?

Yep - sounds good to me ... it's also not so weather dependent, we can fish on there whatever, really. Whereas, get a crappy day in Dover, and they won't even take us out there .

I've got to go out now for some Xmas dinner (yum yum), but let's try and get this sorted tomorrow between us, then we can all get the date in our diary ...

Look forward to seeing you all in the new year!!

Cheers,
JB.
