| BRRRRRRRRRRanscombe :-@ 02/01/2010 last night myself and baggie had to get back to the sea and try for our first points the recent sea swell had died down and both really fancied Chesil ![]() , met baggie at the allotted time 6.45 and at same time got a call from clubmate at west bex saying it was rammed and would have to walk a long long way( on this ankle )so at 7.15 we eventually departed and changed plans to branscome as is one of the few venues here that fish ok dow armed with stinking near dead ragworm still over from flounder meet, frozen squid( that never defrosted all night) and some razorfish we sere set up and fishing by 8 rich was wearing his new trendy 2 towell socks ![]() well the fishing was dire but somehow we stuck it out till midnight for 1 whiteing each( mine was on that stinking ragworm )![]() and packed up very frosty bivvies and rods ![]() ![]() temp gauge showing a lush -4*c on way home roll on wed night comp when we shall do it all over again( going to cut down on seafishing jan /feb untill fish about again ..yeah right )![]() dave __________________ www.exmouthsaa.co.uk 24 beers in a case and 24 hours in a day simples You won't know unless you go :D...and if you do go!! please let us know :D as thats how the forum thrives |

Only brought some thin cotton socks for four hours of fishing in temps circa -4 deg C???? No problems - Just wrap yer feet in towels and you'll be set for the fish fest that will undoubtedly follow.
