| Yorky, Have a look on the message from Black Lug - ref - more than one codling in a trip. Smoothound has mentioned that the cod are now chasing the shrimps in the channel and are therefore pretty hard to catch. Recommended fishing the northern part of the channel over mud flats and semi rough ground quite close in !! I went to Ladye Bay last night and we had just one rockling and bugger all else - I guess his knowledge and advice appear just about spot on !! Cant wait til mid Jan & feb when they should be around in bigger sizes etc - at least I think thats the scenario. Cheers mate __________________ So near yet so far - Wembley 2008 - Zideered Right Up ! |
