Thumbs up gt yarmouth

hello all, i fished yarmouth beach yesterday, behind the coastguard lookout, near the iron duke pub. i fished the slack water and the ebb tide. bait was lug, mussell,& squid.its a bit snaggy so leadlifters were needed. tide was very strong. in all i caught,3whiting 2pout,6good dabs,a rockling,2 small codling & a tiny codling about3inches long! all the dab were very close in about 25yds.all fish were put back apart from the dabs. a chap fishing nearby said his mate caught 4 codling one was 6 pounder.also at the moment monster whiting to be had off caister beach on night tides.
