| this weekend well its been rough, real rough pounding sea but the fish have been feeding big time  managed a couple sessions this weekend with decent results , and a new personal best ....... managed a few bass to 8lb 4oz and a shore conger .....6 foot long that bottomed my scales out at 25lb, after showing the pics to a couple real good boat anglers that deal with eels alot more than i a weight of between 35lb and 38lb was settled upon all fish were taken on pennels and whole squid baits fished as far out as i could manage in the conditions ...........  a few hairy moments were encountered landing the eel , i fish in my own alot with no gaff.....so had to take matters into my own hands , so to speak the bass next to the eel is just shy of 4lb so you can see the size of the eel   biggest bass 8lb 4oz  tightlines all     |

| Re: this weekend Nice one bk,your starting to show us all up mate. Thats some size of an eel for the shore 35lb. Im glad you dont match fish were i live, i wouldnt have have a look in. Thats owesome fish for the shore, that is fishing to the highest standard. You would be happy to catch an eel that size on the boat let alone the shore. Well done. Ps I would say bk she wouldnt be far off 40lb or a tad bigger its got big shoulders mate thick fish. Now i am jelious. Paul. |
