| somewhere to fish going fishing somewhere along the south wales coast this weekend guys. not sure where as most places around here seem to be fishing pretty much the same at the mo. any suggestions? id like one or two of these this weekend      |

 Re: somewhere to fish Hi Wizzard, From the reports I have heard, Redwick, Goldcliffe, Ogmore, Porthcawl anywhere really. I don't know Swansea area very well but i'm sure someone on here does! Have a good time anyway and catch a few |

| Re: somewhere to fish Heard the lighthouse at St. Brides (near Newport) is fishing quite well and offers nice comfortable fishing, the same with Goldcliffe. Most reports I've seen are similar, some cod with a few flounder and doggies. |

| Re: somewhere to fish after along time trying to find somewhere to go i finally ended up in ogmore deeps. catch for today ended with 12 whiting (some being a lb+) 2 doggies and 3 codling. the largest being just under 4lbs in weight. the whiting and dogs were all caught on the usual (lug tipped with squid) and the codling on whole squid. altogether not a bad few hours fishing |
