back into the monsters

had a very late shout that my mate Si had a stack of bait from a comp on sat eve and did i fancy a spot of floundering, rich was stuck in so i jumped at the chance

so with a quick nod from mrs P i was off to lympstone again

weather was cold but there was no wind , water like a millpond, with a slow rise till 10.30 pm high , it was glorious

set up quick as this looked like just whatr i needed

Si was first in with a 1lb ish( didnt have scales) flounder, then a big 1 1/2lb snotty ( boy he loved that)
then i evenened the flounder score with a 1/2 lber, so we opened a can of beer

we were both getting regular knocks fro the schoolies, which Si eventually hooked into a couple, I kept missing

then i had this monster

had to take pic as dont think ever had so small and it was so cute

Si them had the peice de resistance with a good 2 1/2lb bass( had great fun on his little spinning rod)

a great night, really just what i needed, gentle easy fishing ...with fish
