| Southbourne 7/11 K&I popped down to Bournemouth in the search of anyhting that would take a bait. Forecasts were variable - some heavy rain, but wind should be managable. As it turned out wind was too strong & only a couple of showers. fished from 15.30 to 20.00 into the surf. Had to give up when 5 oz was getting swept along in a couple of minutes. K managed a whiting & I got a smaller pout. Good to get out in the fresh air again - even if only for a few hours. Hilight was a very friendly Jack Russell puppy wanting to play with 4 pointers who weren't quite sure what to make of it.
