| Hayling Island 30/10/09 Decided to finish work early and go to Hayling. Fished coastguard station from low water, Wind coming from the east and a fairly bright moon with a small tide meant not much happening. Caught a few pin whiting and a small bass on slipper limpet and worm, plenty of whiting to about 1lb being caught around me but didnt hear of any cod. Chap just up from me had a 4lb thornback on squid. Thinking of going to Pagham on friday, never fished there before, is there a car park, and where is the best place to fish, any information would be welcome. cheers ![]() __________________ Born to fish, forced to work !! |

| Re: Hayling Island 30/10/09 Pagham - Follow signs from Bognor or Chichester By-pass. Turn left at The Church Farm Club. Free parking is now available OPPOSITE the Kings Head pub. Walk past the amusements and the Yacht Club. Anywhere to the left or right of the YC. A weed problem after a blow ... smoothhounds, bream and bass through the summer. Cod and whiting in the winter. Can get very crowded on Frid/Sat nights. ![]() |
